On behalf of the Solway Federation I offer my congratulations to Mr S. J. Irving of Brydekirk Homing Club on winning the Scottish National Flying Club’s race from Falaise on the 21st July. Timing three birds in less than two minutes from 446 miles to take first, second and third Open, the winning bird recording a velocity of 1980 ypm, on a very difficult day. A tremendous performance Scott very well done.
