The Race Controller reports the weather forecast for Saturday is such that a liberation will not be possible until around 2-00pm in the afternoon. The forecast for Sunday is poor for all day. The decision has been made to race mark the birds on Saturday morning, have the Transporter collect the birds from each club on Saturday morning and have a liberation at Shap in the afternoon as soon as the weather allows. the estimated time the Transporter will be at each pick up point will be:-
Dalbeattie & Castle Douglas 8-00am
Nith Valley & Dumfries Fl. C. 8-30am
Hoddom & Lockerbie 9-30am
Brydekirk 9-45am
Annan 10-00am
Eastriggs 10-15am
Springfield 10-30am
To enable the Transporter to be at Shap and give the birds plenty of time to settle it is important the each club is ready to load when the Transporter arrives. Thank you for your co-operation.
