On behalf of the Solway Federation I offer my whole-hearted congratulations to Mr. Stanley Boyd of Dumfries Flying Club on winning the Scottish National Flying Club’s Young Bird National race from Buckingham on Friday 11th September. Stanley timed his young blue hen at 13-49 to win the race recording a velocity of almost a mile per minute. A great performance very well done Stanley.
