I travelled down early this morning and joined up with our Convoyer
who had parked up for the night at Tebay services on my instructions where the birds were watered at 06-30 this morning
We proceeded to the liberation site where it became immediately apparent that a liberation would not be possible due to heavy low cloud obscuring the mountains
I immediately spoke to both my race controller and vice president where the decision was made in the best interests of the pigeons that we move to Shap where i reported that conditions were good to liberate
From early reports returns are excellent
I hope this clears up any confusion that is circulating
We intend to go training from Shap on Tuesday following onto Sedburgh at the weekend
